Sibling Participation – TATTS has always tried to accommodate sibling participation in our programming. We remain committed to this idea with the caveat that autistic individuals take precedence. During registration we request information about desired sibling participation. We will do our best to include them.
Returning TATTS Members – Over the years, we have had a good many TATTS members come back for another season. We want TATTS members to return but we also want to be sure to give new participants a chance. To address this issue, we put returning TATTS members on a waiting list during registration. At the end of the registration period, we reach out to all on the waiting list and add them in should space available on a first come, first serve basis.
Parent/Guardian Participation – TATTS requires a parent or guardian to stay on-site throughout our outings. TATTS has volunteers to run the stations and work with TATTS members but it’s good to have you nearby should the need arise.
Fees – The Alex Paschke Memorial Scholarship provides TATTS the ability to offer participation scholarships to those that need financial assistance. Please request consideration when registering. We have yet to ever turn someone down.
TATTS Paperwork – TATTS requires a parent/guardian sign our Project Waiver and Member Information Forms. These forms addresses topics such as gathering background and interests about the TATTS participants to inform our volunteers, gathers permission to take and share photography during our sessions and states that TATTS does not provide individual accident insurance for participants so parents/guardians waive all liability.
Cancellations – In the event of severe weather, TATTS will send email to all parent/guardians on file. During the first session, TATTS will also provide a mobile number that parents/guardians can call to inquire about whether an outdoor session is still being held. TATTS may cancel a session due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
Missed Programs – Programs missed for individual absences can not be made up. TATTS requires advanced notice if a TATTS member is unable to make an outing.
